“When your energy vibrates at a frequency that is in direct alignment with what the universe has been attempting to deliver your entire life, you begin to live in the flow and true miracles start to happen.”
~ Panache Desai

The sun rose quickly and brilliantly this morning.  And as I repeated my metta mantra, I gave thanks to my teachers, and I expressed gratitude for the people that I encountered in my journeys yesterday.

It had been quite a while since I’d left the house.  Two weeks I think.  It was nice to be out, surrounded by people.  When I used to take my walk to the bank, I was often enveloped in thought, turned inward, or chatting with a friend who would accompany me.  Locals would sometimes tell me to smile … I was pretty serious back in those days, but I was carrying a heavy load.  I still carry a heavy load, but I’ve handed any troubles over to my higher powers.  Rarely are there troubles in the now, if I keep myself focused there, creating.  Yesterday, I simply felt in the flow, open to what lay before me.  And everyone in my path smiled, each clerk behind the desk was friendly, helpful, and offered kind words upon departing.  Pretty miraculous …..

Does my aura have anything to do with how people respond to me?  I believe absolutely.  I am grateful to both my meditation teacher and my yoga teachers who have taught me how to work with my energetic auric field, how to strengthen it, so it is less diffused.  Keeping it from streaming out of the top of my head, caught up in too much thought.  As I walk through life, I try my best now to radiate from the heart instead of my head.

Aura is something hard to teach from behind my keyboard, and apparently even in person, to those who don’t believe in it. I have to chuckle … Last month, I mentioned to my Dad – the Realist -that he is an energy being, and as proof, I told him to rub his hands together, then slowly pull them apart. When I asked him if he felt a magnetic pull there, he looked at me like I was out of my mind. Oh well … People only see what they want to see, or feel for that matter 😉

I’ll leave you with a wonderful quote by Marianne Williamson:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves …
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking,
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

As you engage with the world today, think about the aura that you are projecting.  Putting a smile on your face will surely get you further than having a frown ♥
