“God has put something noble and good into every heart His hand created.”
  ~ Mark Twain

Much like today’s sunrise, our true nature refuses to be held back by the clouds. It will find a way to eventually shine through. Do you see the heart, right there in the middle of the cloudiness?? So too is our heart’s purpose, often hidden in our cloudy confusion.

When we entered this earth, we made a divine contract at incarnation.

Maybe you don’t know what this is. If not, I beg of you to begin a meditation practice with a qualified teacher. Through guided meditation, often referred to as past life regression work, you can be brought to the place of this life’s origination. If you do not work through meditation, you will likely find yourself presented with situations over and over and over again – karma – which will keep at you until you begin to question yourself. We are always being driven towards our divine nature. To manifest the glory of the divine.

When I reached this space of my incarnation through meditation, I was surrounded by beings of light and energy. They were ethereal and filled with love. They had no face, yet I knew them. The heart can see where the eyes cannot. They were sending me on my way.

They said: “You will go and be a friend.”

I’ve been on a quest for 4 years now to discover deeper meaning in this divine message and purpose. To understand my past. To know that we are always on the path. To explore where it seemed easiest, and where life’s little lessons were gently or sometimes harshly pushing me back into line. And as we’ve seen through our exploration of the chakras, if our true nature is not allowed to shine forth, we may be summons to an early death through self-inflicted disease. And if we are fortunate enough to survive, no doubt the illness will have forced us to delve deeply into how we are living our lives.

Dr. Christine Pages writes: “The importance of developing a strong, independent personality which can be utilized by the soul for it’s expression cannot be stressed enough!”

As the serpent-like chakra energy travels through us, moving between the opposite poles of existence, it absorbs the energy generated and brings each chakra into balance:

  • At the base, it moves from “insecurity and limitation” to find security.
  • At the sacrum, it moves between “dependence” to find independence.
  • At the solar plexus,  it moves between “selflessness & selfishness” to find self-worth.  We find the power of hoping, desiring and wanting.
  • At the heart it moves from “self-destruction and hard-heartedness” to find self-love.  The power becomes merging, connecting and loving.

As we come to the chakra of the throat, which connects us to our heart and the divine, we begin believing, willing and trying. The serpent moves between “apathy and willfulness” and finds creative expression (as I’m doing right here!).

The throat energy provides us with immense power to express all that we are, to be the architects of our own creation and to utilize our natural gifts and talents to mold our future destiny. The only thing stopping us is our fear of change, and lack of understanding, which prevents us from handing our willpower over to our divine self. As well, “our tribal amnesia prevents us from remembering that there is another way!”

Change brings challenges and anxiety, but also freedom and joy. Change takes great courage because it involves leaving something or someone. Committing rather than running away. Letting go of old paralysing belief systems, which we use to maintain our safe little worlds of status-quo.

Do you really want to move onward, or are you just paying lip service to the idea?? Listen today to all the excuses you conjure up in an attempt to avoid change.

  • I’d love to but …
  • It’s not that easy because ….
  • I hear what you’re saying, but you just don’t get it …..
  • If only or when I retire, my children leave home, I win the lottery.
  • I can’t because I’m too fat, thin, tired, busy, poor.
  • I’m needed & can’t take time away from my ill family member
  • If only my husband, wife, work, country would change, then …

Make a pact with yourself today to drop the manufactured excuses you use to not live your dreams and come into alignment with your heart’s calling.    If you don’t know what that is, begin the work now.   Your heart will lead you in the right direction, along with a compassionate friend.

Open your throat to expression, and abandon the words “Yes, but”.

Relinquish your hold on the old redundant beliefs and excuses.   Give yourself permission to be excited about the prospect of change and to shine forth with your new identity.   The sooner you do, the quicker you will find inner peace and fulfillment.

And that’s my “friendly” advice for you today:  To share messages of hope. To help you overcome limiting beliefs and encourage you to find your divine self.

I think it just may be my calling ❤
