“It’s your place in the world; it’s your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live.”
~ Mae Jemison

Happy Monday, and what a strange sunrise this morning! Saraha dust maybe?

So it’s the beginning of another month, which means I spent yesterday reviewing my goals and plotting them out on my calendar. It feels very similar to last month, which means I did not get accomplished what I had hoped to achieve. I’ll be installing an iOS ap called “I Track My Time” to figure out where my time wasters have been, what my distractions are, and to monitor shifting priorities. I also re-designed my Goals List, so that it’s become more of a “To-Do List” to be checked off.

Along with my own planning, in need of inspiration, I happened to see that Kevin Kruse over at Forbes.com had posted another Quotes List, in the spirit of self motivation. This one is “The Top 100 Inspirational Quotes”, and it’s great! Here’s the link …

As I read through the quotes this morning, there was a common thread running through all of this advice. To sum it up …

Success is about dreaming big, being creative, overcoming fear, getting specific, and simply getting off your hump and getting it done.

So to quote Jim Rohn:  Either you run the day, or the day runs you.

What will it be for you today? I fully intend to run my day! Let’s make it the start to a happy and productive week! Good luck!!
