“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us a universe, a part limited in time and space.
He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest …
a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us,
restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison
by widening our circle of compassion
to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in it’s beauty.”
~ Einstein

This little guy was chirping up a storm this morning, as he basked in the early morning sunrise.   I couldn’t help but be drawn by his enjoyment in life’s sweet nectar and bounty ♥

May we all find the sweet nectar in life today (and always) and begin to widen our circle of compassion. The more we open and extend our hearts, the more love we receive in return. That’s the universal law. Enjoy your week !!
