“The great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving: To reach the port of heaven, we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it – but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.”
~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

Last night, I had a rare chance to sit on my guest deck, under the coming full moon. She was beautiful, dancing and changing hues, as the wispy clouds came and went. Stars twinkling. Ocean breezes so strong and cool that I needed a blanket to keep warm. I sat, sipping on a glass of wine, for a long time. Contemplating life. Finally, a passing rain shower drove me inside, and to bed.

The unseasonably strong, gusty winds continued this morning. And I couldn’t help but think these are the Winds of Change …..

It’s no surprise that Astrologer Mystic Mamma shares this morning my universally felt message of change:

Grandmother Moon peaks into her fullness on March 5th 2015 bringing with her a heightening of our emotional realms. We are amidst great times of transformation which are heralding major new beginnings.

Change isn’t always easy or comfortable and it’s constant, so we must strive to keep our balance during these changing tides.

With the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo, let’s call forth a feminine softening to help us flow, grace to help us be more compassionate with ourselves and others, and healing as we gently move into our wholeness.

Virgo is a sign of presence, and one that observes the smallest details. A great expansion happens now from being here now
— in your body, where you are.

A great renewal comes from letting go of what keeps you from settling in, and knowing the power of presence.

What strikes to the nervous system cause you to escape from being present?

This can be a time of clearing, simplifying and purifying.

You become the Virgin, whole-unto-herself (or himself), able to take in new experiences, and be changed by them …
