“Find the good. It’s all around you. Find it, showcase it and you’ll start believing in it.”
~ Jesse Owens

This morning – as a result of a cat fight and more media negativity – I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Even the sunrise didn’t seem so happy this morning ….

“The wrong side of the bed.” Did you know that this saying originated in Roman times, where it was considered bad luck to get out of bed on the left side?

Just thinking about this idiom gave me pause for chuckle … Which is the left side of the bed ?!? It changes, depending on if you sleep on your front, or on your back. It’s sort of like seeing a glass half empty or half full ….

Laughter … One of the surest ways to re-establish a positive mental attitude.

To quote Seth Godin, “Positive thinking is hard. Worth it, though!”

So today, I take up the daily mantra of W. Clement Stone, author of “Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude”:

I feel healthy! I feel happy! I feel terrific!

And I do!  I hope you do too !!! Have a great day!
