“Words are easy, like the wind; Faithful friends are hard to find.”
~ William Shakespeare

Good morning faithful friends Yesterday was summer solstice … The longest “daylight” of the year, as well as the midway point. Thank for taking time each day to share in my journey. You are appreciated. All 53 of you, 25 of you who I am grateful to have as friends outside of this digital world. As for the rest of you, I hope we have the pleasure of meeting one day!

In real life, according to Facebook, I have 318 friends. I personally know most of my FB friends, but a handful, I’ve “friended” because we share something in common, and they are active in the world of Facebook. And I enjoy being able to interact with them.

For some reason, I got to thinking about each of my 318 friends yesterday. Maybe it was thinking about the loss of someone who truly was a friend to me.

According to FB, there are 16 Types of Friends … You’ve likely seen the list before …

I have a few wonderful roosters in there. Some newscasters and some drama queens (and kings). Actually the biggest drama friend I have is a guy. He almost committed suicide on FB (literally). I’m grateful for the likers. I don’t have too many haters. That’s a good thing! I have a handful of prophets, who keep me on my toes LOL. I have a couple popularity kings/queens who have +1,000 other friends. And I think, good for them. These people are active in the world of social media.

But most of my 318 friends are lurkers. And for some reason, this fills me with sadness …

As all of you, my dear readers, my you have a wonderful day. You’re the best !!!! And I always appreciate the likes, your comments, and your feedback ❤
