“When you give yourself permission to communicate what matters to you in every situation you will have peace despite rejection or disapproval. Putting a voice to your soul helps you to let go of the negative energy of fear and regret.”
~ Shannon L. Alder

Wow! Today’s sunrise was “clear as a bell’ …. Did you know that saying dates back to Shakespeare, who used it in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ …

‘He hath a heart as sound as a bell, and his tongue is the clapper; for what his heart thinks, his tongue speaks.’

I believe it’s important to use mindful speech. Words, even though true in our mind, should always be tempered by good timing.

Well, I have some choice words for our power company this morning. Right along with the unexpected power outage at the Super Dome last evening, our whole island experienced a power outage 10 minutes later, that lasted the extent of the third quarter. I decided to go to bed, and missed the excitement and the baby clydesdale ad. Oh well, thank goodness for DVRs 😉 All in all, I’d say the ads were pretty lame though. Some even downright confusing. What did you think?

I hope all of you have a wonderful week, with everything tuned in, just as clear as that bell …
